Social Media Platforms

These are some of the social media platforms which can impact in the distribution and marketing of a music video campaign. Currently, the social media platforms that dominate the market are Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp and Instagram.

For our specific project and genre of production, I believe that the most suited platform to upload our music video is YouTube, as it has a high amount of users within our target audience’s age range and it's specially created for the purpose of uploading music videos. Additionally, for the promotion of our song, I believe Instagram is also well suited, as it is used heavily by young adults, which is exactly our target audience, and it allows us to create a personalized platform where we can upload updates, promotions and engage with our audience to reach the highest number of people possible.
